dubTC LLC ("dubTC," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using dubTC's services, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Discord User ID and Discord username (when you interact with our Discord bot)
- Competitor profile information (gamertags, league affiliations, aliases) that you provide or that your league representative provides on your behalf
- Email address, payment information, and identity verification data (only when you create a payment account through Stripe Connect via our services; this is collected and stored by Stripe, not by dubTC directly)
- Any other information you voluntarily provide
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Event participation, fight records, ratings, and other competitive metadata generated through your use of competitive services
- Audio recordings of public live events for transcription purposes (limited to publicly-streamed event audio; not personal voice communications)
- Standard server and application logs (IP address, timestamps, error reports) for operational purposes
2.3 Information from third parties
- Discord (for user identification when you interact with our bot)
- Stripe (for payment processing and identity verification; subject to Stripe's privacy policy)
- Game publishers, where authorized through opt-in integrations (e.g., ranked data from EA SPORTS UFC, subject to your explicit consent and the publisher's privacy policy)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- Calculate and display competitor ratings, rankings, and historical records
- Process viewer-patronage donations and distribute payouts via Stripe Connect
- Generate analytics that improve the quality and accuracy of competitive infrastructure
- Communicate with you about the Services
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or competitive-integrity violations
- Comply with legal obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
dubTC does not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers (Supabase, Cloudflare, Railway, Stripe, etc.) acting on our behalf under standard data-processing terms
- League partners, who see information necessary to administer the leagues they operate (e.g., competitor records within their league)
- Public-facing surfaces — competitive results, ratings, and similar information that is intentionally published as part of the Services (event leaderboards, competitor profiles)
- Legal obligations when required by valid legal process
- Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with appropriate notice
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information dubTC holds about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions for finalized competitive records and legal obligations
- Withdraw consent for opt-in integrations (e.g., third-party ranked data sharing) at any time
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California: you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA. dubTC honors these rights and processes requests in accordance with applicable law.
6. Data Retention
dubTC retains personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Finalized competitive records (event results, historical ratings) may be retained indefinitely as part of dubTC's historical ledger. Other information is retained per typical operational lifecycles or until you request deletion.
7. Security
dubTC uses industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption at rest for sensitive data, encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law.
8. Cookies and Tracking
The dub.tc website uses minimal cookies and tracking. We may use Cloudflare's standard security cookies for protecting the site against abuse. We do not use third-party advertising or marketing trackers.
9. Children
The Services are not intended for individuals under 13 years of age. dubTC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at luke@dub.tc and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International Data Transfers
dubTC is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers where applicable.
11. Changes to This Policy
dubTC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Services or by other reasonable means. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy reflects when changes took effect.
